Ator The Fighting Eagle (1982, 1hr 32min)
Directed by Joe D’Amato
Joe D’Amato was best known as a director of trashy horror and erotic films, but he ventured into the sword-and-sorcery genre exactly once with surprisingly little trash involved. Aside from, maybe, the fact that Ator falls in love with and wants to marry his sister.
To make that dream a reality, the mighty Ator embarks on a quest to avenge his slaughtered village and rescue his beloved from the sinister Dakkar and his monstrous spider cult.
Featuring Laura Gemser, the Indonesian-Dutch model and actress best known for her collaborations with D’Amato, including their many entries in the Black Emanuelle series. A great crowd watch.

Bubble Bath (1979, 1hr 20min)
Directed by György Kovásznai
Bubble Bath is Hungary’s first adult animated feature, and the first and only feature film by artist György Kovásznai.
Mixing musical, rom-com, and documentary forms, the film pairs its wildly expressive animation with János Másik’s playful, operatic soundtrack of bossa nova, bluegrass, funk, and disco. Initially met with mixed reviews, its radically different vision of city life has since earned it cult status.
